Packaging

Reading this post from my friend June Lemon, really inspired me!

I've always thought the most important part of a present was its content since anyways we only want to open the package and see what is inside.

-But how cool is it to receive a present in a super cute package??
It actually makes a big difference since it makes the present more exciting and intriguing!
Here's one I made last week!

My Big Fat لبناني Wedding

I think I can announce today, without much confidence though.. the end of my wedding season!

Call it a season because if for some people summer means beach, sea and sun in my case the word wedding is necessarily included in the description.

-And I'm certainly not complaining!!

In fact, I lovee attending wedding, especially Lebanese weddings. The atmosphere, the decoration, the ambiance, the music, the food... all the elements are reunited to enchant you the time of a night.

And as I'm still trying to get over my post wedding phase of "I want to get married!!" hehe I'll let you enjoy some pictures that I took from my iphone of some of the seven weddings/engagements I attended this summer!

Travel Journal

Two years ago, I received for my birthday a Moleskine agenda that I decided to use as a travel journal since I was going to the States for two months.

The point was not to write on it everyday like you would do on an intimate journal but rather to collect objects such as train tickets, room keys, concert tickets, photo booth pictures... and place them in the corresponding dates.

I love its crafty look, and the fact that when I see a souvenir I remember what happened that day and its specifically why I don't write more than two lines on it. I think it is always nice(?)/funny when someone reminds you of a good or funny moment you have forgotten!!

And here are some very C0ol and Inspiring ones I found on Pinterest.

Cyprus- Protaras from my iPhone

This summer, I went Cyprus or the Island of love, where according the myths was also the birth place of Aphrodite.

We visited three cities, Protaras, Limassol and Paphos only a few hours away from each other by car and all worth the stay. But the one not to miss is definitely Protaras, which has the nicest beaches and the most convivial atmosphere. While being very touristic, the city looks like a small village and is the perfect place for relaxing vacations with the family. Also it is only an hour away from Ayia Napa well known for its nightlife.

Here are a few pictures of Protaras I took with my iPhone:

Fig Tree Bay - The nicest beach of the coast

Perfect water for waterskiing with few waves in the morning

Best seafood- basically what we had everyday!

Feet treatment anyone?

Kalamies- A very good seafood restaurant not to miss!!

Art - Have you met... Yayoi Kusama

The Japanese artist and writer mostly famous for her intensive use of polka dots.

During a unforgettable show "Gleaming Lights of the Soul", she combined an installation of mirrors and illuminating lights to reflect infinity. People could experience being surrounded by a "never-ending reflection of light".

See more of her work here and these pictures would look so nice on a black t-shirt or a big black sweater!
